Craig Malcolm Robinson (born April 21, 1962) is an American college basketball coach, basketball executive, and broadcaster.

He is a former head men's basketball coach at Oregon State University and Brown University. Robinson has been married twice and has four children.

Long before she became first lady, Michelle La Vaughn Robinson matriculated at Princeton University.

She majored in sociology and minored in African American studies, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree and a thesis entitled “Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community.” Michelle Robinson followed her brother, basketball player Craig, to Princeton, graduating two years after him in 1985.

Lucidon hadn’t seen Michelle Obama since before her baby, Eden, was born.

She brought Eden, her husband, and her mother with her to the event. Obama was excited to meet and hold Eden,” Lucidon writes in the last pages of the book.

He was a star forward as a player at Princeton University in the early 1980s and a bond trader during the 1990s. First Lady Michelle Obama and the brother-in-law of former U. Craig Malcolm Robinson was born on April 21, 1962, in De Young, Illinois, to Fraser Robinson, a city water plant employee and Democratic precinct captain, and Marian Robinson (née Shields), a secretary at Spiegel's catalog store.

He currently is the vice president of player and organizational development for the New York Knicks. When Robinson was considering what college to go to, his father insisted that he attend Princeton University for its Ivy League academics, rather than either the University of Washington or Purdue University, which offered scholarships and major basketball conference play.

According to a 2008 article in the Princeton Weekly Bulletin, Michelle Obama’s commitment to public service was nurtured at Princeton’s Third World Center, now known as the Fields Center.

She coordinated its after-school program, tutored Princeton children, and was active in the African American and service organizations on campus.
